One of my favorite parts about creating handmade pieces is collaborating with customers to bring their ideas to life. Recently, I had the joy of working with a wonderful customer who reached out to me with a very special request.

She once had a little gator magnet that meant a lot to her, but it was lost during a move. She asked if I could help recreate it—and I was honored to take on the challenge!

With just her memory and vision as a guide, I set out to transform her idea into reality. From sketching out the design, choosing the right shades of wool, and carefully felting each detail, this project became a true labor of love.

When she received her custom gator magnet, her response warmed my heart. She told me how happy she was to have this piece again, and that it brought back wonderful memories she thought she had lost. Moments like this remind me why I create—because handmade art has the power to connect us, carry memories, and spark joy.

This little gator magnet is now living happily in its new home, and I’m so grateful to have been part of this journey. 💚
